Everton Ends Winless Run with Confident Home Victory over Fulham

Everton finally celebrated a victory after defeating Fulham 2-0 at home. Tarkowski came close to scoring himself when his shot found the net but was disallowed for offside. Shortly afterward, he contributed to the opening goal when his header hit the crossbar and the ball reached Gueye, who opened the scoring. The defender noted that recent matches had been decided by small margins, but this time the team converted its chances and maintained focus until the final whistle.

Everton has conceded 13 goals in 11 matches this season, five of which came in consecutive defeats to Manchester City and Tottenham. The defensive phase has been a major focus in training, as opponents often scored from set pieces. The players concentrated on these situations, and the result against Fulham demonstrated that the work is paying off.
