Everton has conceded 13 goals in 11 matches this season, five of which came in consecutive defeats to Manchester City and Tottenham. The defensive phase has been a major focus in training, as opponents often scored from set pieces. The players concentrated on these situations, and the result against Fulham demonstrated that the work is paying off.
