North London Derby Set to Highlight Women's Football Weekend

16.11.2025

Fans of women's football can look forward to the North London derby between Tottenham Hotspur Women and Arsenal. For Spurs, it will be the first derby of the season and an opportunity to confirm their strong start under coach Martin Ho. The team currently sits fifth in the table with the same number of points as fourth-placed Arsenal. The history of head-to-head meetings clearly favors Arsenal, but Tottenham managed to defeat their rival in 2023 and again in a friendly match in August 2025.

Spurs rely on the performances of new signings, particularly forward Tinka Tandberg and midfielder Olivia Holdt, who are among the most prominent figures in the squad. The defense, led by center-backs Toko Koga and Clare Hunt, appears stable, which will be crucial against Arsenal’s attacking strength. The match will take place at Brisbane Road Stadium, although many fans would prefer to see such a prestigious clash held at Tottenham’s main ground.

The game will not be broadcast in the United States, while in the United Kingdom it will be shown on Sky Sports Premier League. Viewers in the US will be able to follow the action via streaming on ESPN Select. Kick-off is scheduled for 14:30 Central European Time.
