Liverpool fans can look forward to an update that will improve their experience in discussions on the community website The Liverpool Offside. From today, users will receive notifications whenever someone responds to their comment or post in the feed.
The notifications will appear in the upper right corner of the page and will allow community members to react immediately to responses from others. The goal of this feature is to strengthen communication among fans and create more dynamic discussions not only on The Liverpool Offside but also across the entire SB Nation network.
The new system will operate across all SB Nation communities. For example, if a user receives a reply to their post on another site within the network, they will see the notification even when logged into Liverpool Offside. This will connect fans of different teams and sports within one platform.
Details about how the new system works and future improvements were presented by SB Nation’s product team leader Ed Clinton. Logged-in users will also see fewer ads and can actively participate in discussions.
