Former Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to resume his football career by signing with Scottish giants Celtic Glasgow. Reports suggest that the deal will be a six-month contract lasting until the end of the season.
The English player was recently seen training with Arsenal’s first team as he prepared for his next move. It is now confirmed that his path leads to the green and white camp in Glasgow. After leaving Liverpool in 2023, Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Turkish side Besiktas, where he struggled for playing time under then-coach and current Liverpool assistant Giovanni van Bronckhorst. His contract was mutually terminated last August.
