The home jerseys are mostly white with green vertical stripes on the chest, while the away jerseys are green. Their sanctuary is the modern Konya Büyükşehir Stadium with a capacity of 37,829 seats. The club originates from the Turkish city of Konya and was founded in 1922. It was then reformed in 1981.

Turkish football team Denizlispor, based in Denizli, was founded in 1966. They alternate between the first and second league. They also looked to the Europa League in 2002 where they managed to knock out though FC Lorient, Sparta Prague and Olympique Lyon before falling out in the 4th round to Portuguese club FC Porto, who eventually won the entire tournament. Their home stadium Denizli Atatürk Stadium has a capacity of over 18 000 football fans.
