Hyde United FC have been playing football since 1919, with Ewen Fields hosting over 4,000 spectators for home games. The club colours for home games are red and black, away games are played in a combination of yellow and black. The team was even at one time sponsored by the famous big club Manchester City, thanks to which the club did not suffer financial ruin.
