Yeovil Town FC

The club's nickname is The Glovers, and the club colours are green and yellow. These colours can also be found in the club crest. The English club was founded in 1895 in the town of Yeovil in the metropolitan county of Somerset. At that time they were still called Yeovil Casuals FC, and in 1907 they merged with Petters United FC to form Yeovil & Petters United FC. The name was not changed to its present form until 1946.
