Deportivo Toluca F.C., commonly known as Toluca, is a professional football club based in Toluca, Mexico. Founded on February 12, 1917, the team plays its home matches at the Estadio Nemesio Diez, affectionately referred to as "La Bombonera," which has a seating capacity of around 27,000. The stadium is notable for its high altitude, sitting over 2,600 meters above sea level, giving Toluca an advantage against many visiting teams not accustomed to these conditions.
