Outdoors they play in jerseys with a predominance of red or white. White is an alternative third colour. At home they are at the Bielefelder Alm stadium with a capacity of 27,300 spectators. The club was founded in 1905, in the city of Bielefeld in North Rhine-Westphalia. It has then borne its current name since 1926.
