This unit comes from the Turkish city of Alanya in Antalya province. In today's popular resort of the Turkish Riviera, it was founded in 1948 and their club colours are orange and green. This colour combination can also be seen in the club crest, but of course also on the jerseys. There are, of course, multiple Turkish teams in this large Turkish city with whom the club has local rivalries. The club was active in the top Turkish Süper Lig in 1959-64, 2007-08, 2009-11 and started its last season in 2012. Since then it has remained in the top league.
