CF Os Belenenses, commonly referred to as Belenenses, is a Portuguese football club based in Lisbon. Founded on September 23, 1919, the team traditionally plays in blue jerseys and is named after the Belém parish in Lisbon from where they originate. Belenenses has a decorated history, with their pinnacle achievement being the Primeira Liga title won in the 1945-46 season.
