VfB Stuttgart was founded in the 19th century in 1893, under the name Stuttgarter FV 93. Like many other teams, their club colours are red and white. The German football club is nicknamed Kiezkicker or also Freibeuter der Liga (Pirates of the League), with the club colours being brown and white. This colour combination can also be found on the home jersey, with the top being brown and the shorts white. For the away jerseys it is the other way around.
