The nickname of this English unit is The Silkmen. Their club colours are blue and white, which also appear on their home jerseys. The jersey itself is blue, while the shorts are white. Their home stadium is the Moss Rose, which offers a capacity of 5,911 spectators. The club was founded as Macclesfield FC back in 1874, in the town of Macclesfield in the metropolitan county of Cheshire. It has had its current name with the Town moniker since 1966.
More about Macclesfield Town FCThe club is called Red Dragons and it is not hard to guess the club colours, which include red of course, but also white. The home jerseys honour these colours as well, with the away game being played in a combination of white and black. Home games are played at the Racecourse Ground, which seats 10,771 spectators. The Welsh side was founded in 1864, then under the name Wrexham Town FC. The team is therefore from the town of Wrexham in the ceremonial county of Clwyd. In 1880 it was renamed Wrexham FC and in 2006 it was re-established as Wrexham AFC after its demise.
