AC Libertas

AC Libertas is a professional football team based in San Marino. The club, founded in 1928, hails from the city of Borgo Maggiore and has a rich heritage within the Sammarinese football scene, given its long-standing presence. AC Libertas competes in the Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio, the top tier of San Marino football.

The team's colors are traditionally red and black, and they play their home matches at the Stadio di Baseball di Serravalle, which they share with other clubs due to the limited number of stadiums in the country. AC Libertas has enjoyed domestic success over the years, winning multiple league titles and Coppa Titano trophies, showcasing their status as one of the competitive forces in Sammarinese football.

Despite the challenges faced by teams from such a small nation, including limited resources and a small player pool, AC Libertas often participates in the preliminary rounds of European competitions like the UEFA Europa League, striving to make a mark on the continental stage and gain valuable experience for its players.

With a dedicated fan base and a commitment to fostering local football talent, AC Libertas continues to be an integral part of San Marino's sporting community, contributing to the passion and excitement of the nation's beloved game.
