Apollon Smyrnis

Apollon Smyrnis F.C. is a Greek professional football club based in Rizoupoli, Athens, Greece. The team was founded in Smyrna (today's İzmir, Turkey) in 1891 but was relocated to Athens after the Greco-Turkish War and the subsequent population exchange between Greece and Turkey. Apollon Smyrnis is one of the oldest football clubs in Greece, with a history that includes both triumphs and hardships.

The club's colors are blue and white, reflecting its Hellenic heritage, and its home matches are played at the 14,200-seat Georgios Kamaras Stadium. Although not one of the powerhouses of Greek football, Apollon Smyrnis has a dedicated fan base and has sporadically competed in the top tier of Greek football, the Super League Greece.
