Barrow AFC

Barrow AFC, also known as Barrow Association Football Club, is a professional football team based in the town of Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England. They currently compete in the National League, which is the fifth tier of the English football league system.

Founded in 1901, the club has a rich history that includes fluctuations between different tiers of the football leagues. The team's colors are blue and white, and they play their home matches at Holker Street stadium, which has been their ground since their inception.

Known for their passionate local support, Barrow AFC has experienced varied success throughout their history. They have claimed the FA Trophy once and have spent a number of seasons in the English Football League before being relegated to non-league football. Following a long spell in the lower divisions, Barrow AFC made a significant achievement by winning the National League title in the 2019-2020 season, securing promotion back to the English Football League after a 48-year absence. However, they were relegated back to the National League after just one season in the EFL.
