The football team in the English seaside town of Blackpool was founded in 1887. The club has gradually tried different levels of English football, having played in the Premier League, but most of their time has been spent in the lower tiers. The Bloomfield Road stadium where they play their home games has a capacity of over 16,000 football fans.
Of some interest is that after Blackpool FC reached the Premier League in 2010, they became the first club in English history to go through every division of English football via the play off system. In terms of achievements, the biggest one is probably winning the FA Cup in 1953. After that it's the 1929/1930 League Two title plus a couple of minor cups.
