Chesterfield Football Club, commonly known as the Spireites due to the distinctive 'crooked spire' of St Mary and All Saints Church in the town, is a professional football team based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. Founded in 1866, the club has a storied history and plays its home matches at the Technique Stadium, which opened in 2010.

Historically, the club has fluctuated between the lower divisions of English football, enjoying periods of success including league titles in the lower divisions and notable cup runs. Chesterfield's most significant achievements include reaching the FA Cup semi-finals and winning the Football League Trophy.
