Club Tijuana

Club Tijuana, also known as the Xolos, is a professional Mexican football team based in Tijuana, Baja California. The club was founded on January 10, 2007, and quickly made its presence felt in the Mexican football league system. They play their home matches at the Estadio Caliente, which has a capacity of approximately 27,000 spectators.

Xolos achieved remarkable success by winning the 2012 Apertura tournament of Liga MX, the top tier of Mexican football, which marked a significant milestone in the club's relatively short history. This victory granted them entry to prestigious international competitions such as the Copa Libertadores.

The team is known for its energetic and attacking style of play, which is underpinned by a solid youth development program. Club Tijuana's colors are predominantly red and black, and they have built a passionate fan base both locally and among Mexicans living in the United States, given Tijuana's proximity to the border.
