Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa

Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa, often referred to simply as Cultural Leonesa, is a Spanish football club based in the city of León, in the autonomous community of Castile and León. The team was founded on August 5, 1923, and traditionally plays in white shirts with black shorts. Their home matches are conducted at Estadio Reino de León, which has a capacity of around 13,000 spectators.

Cultural Leonesa has spent most of its history fluctuating between the lower tiers of the Spanish football league system, mainly Segunda División B (currently known as Primera Federación, the third level) and Tercera División (the fourth level). The club has had intermittent spells in the Segunda División (second level), with their most recent foray into the division occurring in the 2017-2018 season.

Known for their passionate local fan base, Cultural Leonesa made headlines globally in 2014 for their tuxedo-styled kit, which gained them considerable attention on social media. While the club has not won any major national trophies, it remains an integral part of the local community in León, fostering local talent and maintaining a vibrant club culture.
