They are called Superboeren and their club colours are blue and white. These colours can be found both on the club crest and on the jerseys of this Dutch team, where the home jersey has a distinctive horizontal stripe in these colours. Home matches are played at the De Vijverberg stadium, which offers a total capacity for 12,600 spectators. The club was founded in 1954 in the town of Doetinchem in the east of the Netherlands.
The club currently operates in the Eerste Divisie, the second highest level of Dutch football. Here, they were relegated from the top flight of the Eredivisie relatively fresh after a disappointing 2018/19 season, which ended in the 17th relegation place. The most successful period for this team was mainly from the mid-1990s to the beginning of the new millennium, when it held the top flight for a long time. After that, there was a period of transition between the second and the first league. The Eerste Divisie, the second highest competition, was won a total of 3 times, in 1991, 2007 and 2010.
