The full name Esbjerg forenede Boldklubber, or EfB for short, is a Danish football club from the town of the same name, Esbjerg, on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula. The club was founded in 1924 as a result of the merger of a pair of units, Esbjerg Boldklub af 1898 and Esbjerg Amatørklub af 1911. Home matches are played at the Blue Water Arena, which has a capacity of 16,942 seats. The club colours are blue and white, and these colours appear as blue and white vertical stripes on the home jersey. The away team then plays in blue or black jerseys.
In the past, this was a fairly successful Danish club, winning the championship 5 times, in 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965 and 1979. The club has spent about half its time in the Superligaen during its existence and is still in the competition now. Of recent note is the 3rd place finish in the 2018/19 season. It has also won the Danish Cup 3 times, in 1963/64, 1975/76 and 2012/13.
