FC Bourg-Péronnas

FC Bourg-Péronnas, more commonly known as FBBP or simply Bourg-Péronnas, is a French football club based in the town of Péronnas, close to Bourg-en-Bresse in the Ain department of eastern France. The team currently competes in the Championnat National, which is the third tier of French football.

Established in 1942, the club has spent much of its history in the amateur divisions of French football. It has, however, gradually worked its way up the league system, reaching the professional ranks for the first time when it was promoted to Ligue 2, the second tier of French football, for the 2015-2016 season. The club's stay in Ligue 2 was short-lived, but it established them as a competitive force in the lower professional and semi-professional divisions.

FBBP plays its home matches at the Stade Marcel-Verchère, which has a modest capacity that reflects the club's small-town roots. The stadium atmosphere is intimate, with dedicated fans who passionately support their team.

Known for its blue and red colors, the club has developed a reputation for nurturing young talent and operating with a strong community focus. While it may not boast the resources or pedigree of larger French clubs, FC Bourg-Péronnas prides itself on its tenacity and the close relationship it maintains with its local supporters.
