FC Nordsjælland

The Danish football club from Farum is abbreviated as FCN, and their nickname is Tigrene (wild tigers). The club colours of the Tigers are blue and red, and have been since 1991 when the club was founded, back then as Farum BK. These were the colours of the original clubs that merged to form the team. Two clubs from the city of Farum merged at that time, namely Farum Idræts Klub (1910) and Stavnsholt Boldklub (1974), in order to strengthen the competitiveness. Today's club plays in red jerseys at home and blue jerseys away. Their home stadium is Farum Park, which offers a capacity of 10 300 people.

As Farum BK, the club still has one participation in the Superliagen, Denmark's top football competition. This was in the 2002/03 season. Although they finished an incredible 3rd place in their first participation and also qualified for the UEFA Cup, the club almost went bankrupt due to financial problems. Since 2003 they have been under AKB Holding and in the 2011/12 season they managed to win the Superliagen. They won the Danish Football Cup in the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons.
