The history of the Italian football team FC Pro Vercelli 1892 dates back, as its name suggests, to 1892. And although its name is rather unknown to the general public today, it ranks among the best teams in Italian football. The Stadio Silvio Piola, with a capacity of five and a half thousand fans, is used for their home matches.
This is a team that is at the level of the third league. But in the distant past they managed to win seven league titles, but the last one came in the 1921/1922 edition. They were relegated from the top competition in 1935 and have not been back since. And FC Pro Vercelli 1892's other notable achievements are also usually several decades old.
