FC Steaua București

FC Steaua Bucharest, also known as FCSB, is a prominent Romanian football club based in Bucharest. Originally founded on June 7, 1947, as the sports association of the Romanian Army, the club has a storied history and is one of the most successful teams in Romanian football.

FC Steaua București has an illustrious record domestically, having won numerous Liga I titles, Romanian Cups, and Romanian Super Cups. The team's colors are traditionally red and blue, which feature prominently in their crest and kit.

The pinnacle of Steaua's success on the European stage came in 1986 when they won the European Cup, becoming the first and only Romanian club to lift the prestigious trophy. They went on to reach the final again in 1989, although they did not clinch the title that time.

Their home matches are played at the Arena Națională, the largest stadium in Romania, which offers a state-of-the-art venue for their passionate fan base. Throughout its history, FC Steaua București has produced several notable players who have gone on to achieve international acclaim.

As of my last update, FCSB continues to compete at the top level of Romanian football and maintains a fierce rivalry with Dinamo Bucharest, with their encounters known as "The Eternal Derby." The club's rich history and significant fan support make it a pillar of Romanian sport and a respected name in European football circles.
