This club was first founded in 1908 but has gone through two restructurings, in 1977 and 1997. Currently, you can see this team playing in League One, the 3rd highest professional football competition in England. The club has played 4 times in the 3rd round of the English Cup, most recently in the 2018/19 season when they were also in the 2nd round of the League Cup. Delving further into history, they also reached the final of the FA Vase, a cup competition for teams from lower competitions, in the 1984/85 season.
