Gais

GAIS, short for "Göteborgs Atlet- & Idrottssällskap" (Gothenburg Athletics & Sports Association), is a Swedish football club based in Gothenburg. Founded in 1894, the club is one of the oldest in Sweden and has a rich history, including several national championship titles and Swedish Cup victories, though most of its major successes are from the early half of the 20th century.

GAIS traditionally plays their home matches at Gamla Ullevi stadium, which they share with other local teams. The club's colors are green and black, which are featured prominently in their striped jerseys. Over the years, GAIS has been known for its youth development program, producing several players who have gone on to successful careers domestically and internationally.

The team has a loyal fan base and a longstanding rivalry with IFK Göteborg, another prominent Gothenburg team, contributing to a vibrant local footballing culture.
