GIF Sundsvall

GIF Sundsvall is a Swedish professional football team based in Sundsvall, a city located in the eastern part of the country. The club was founded on August 25, 1903, making it one of the older football clubs in Sweden. Traditionally decked out in their navy blue and white colors, they are affectionately known by fans as "Giffarna," which loosely translates to "The Giffers."

While they have spent much of their history oscillating between the various levels of Swedish football, GIF Sundsvall has experienced spells in Allsvenskan, the top tier of the Swedish football league system. Their presence in the top division has been intermittent, experiencing promotions and relegations throughout their history.
