The current name has been the club's name since 1889. The English football club is based in the town of Cleethorpes in the metropolitan county of Lincolnshire.

Otherwise, however, it is certainly worth noting that it has an incredible 39 successes in the local Lincolnshire Senior Cup. The current home of the team is League Two, the fourth highest level in English league football.
