Hammarby IF

Hammarby IF, commonly known as Hammarby or Bajen by its fans, is a Swedish football team based in Stockholm. The club was founded in 1897, originally as a rowing club, and the football department was established in 1915. Hammarby plays its home games at the Tele2 Arena, having moved there from the historic Söderstadion. They are traditionally adorned in green and white stripes, reflecting their official colors.

Over the years, Hammarby IF has developed a reputation for passionate fans and an entertaining style of play. Although not the most decorated club in Swedish football, Hammarby won their first and only Allsvenskan title in 2001, which remains a high point in their history.
