The nicknames of this Danish football club are HBK, Svanerne or Herfølge-Køge. The club colours are blue and black, which can be found both in the emblem and on the home jerseys. The home jersey has blue and black vertical stripes. Outdoors, they play in bright green. The home stadium is Køge Idrætspark, which has a capacity of 8 000 seats. The club in its current form has only been writing its history since 2009, when it merged with Herfølge Boldklub and Køge Boldklub. The club is based in the towns of Herfølge and Køge, which are located south of Copenhagen.
Just after the merger, the club still played Superliagen, but the 2009/10 season ended in relegation. They did manage to return to the top competition for a second season, but they didn't stay there either, and the team's second stint there ended in failure. The club is now operating in the second highest league of Danish professional football and finished the 2018/19 season in 7th position in the league table.
