Heybridge Swifts FC, a football club from the English non-metropolitan county of Essex, was founded in 1880. Their club colours are black and white for home games and they play away games in red. Around 3,000 fans can come to their home ground at Scraley Road to support them.
Given that they come from a small town, it's not surprising that they play smaller competitions. The Isthmian League title they achieved in the 1989/1990 season can probably be considered the club's greatest achievement. They have made several first round appearances in the FA Cup and reached the quarter finals of the FA Trophy in the 1996/1997 season.
