Kruoja Pakruojis was a Lithuanian football club based in the town of Pakruojis. The team was founded in 2003 and spent much of its existence competing in the A Lyga, the top flight of Lithuanian football. Kruoja Pakruojis had a relatively brief history but managed to make its mark on the national scene.
During their time in the A Lyga, Kruoja Pakruojis became known for their competitive spirit and even finished as high as second place in the league standings during the 2014 season. This performance granted them a spot in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Europa League, providing the club with exposure on the European stage.
However, the club faced financial difficulties and other challenges that affected their stability and performance. These issues led to the team's eventual demise, and Kruoja Pakruojis ceased operations and withdrew from the A Lyga in 2015. Despite their dissolution, the team left a legacy in the local community and remains a part of Lithuanian football history.
