American football team Los Angeles FC has been in existence since 2014 and played their first match in the prestigious Major League Soccer for the first time in 2018. The Banc of California Stadium with a possible capacity of 22,000 fans is used for their home matches. They wear black jerseys for home games and white jerseys for away games.
Probably the most important duel for them is the so-called El Tráfico and thus the derby against the slightly more famous LA Galaxy. The very first match was very much watched due to the fact that it was Zlatan Ibrahimović's debut in MLS. Interestingly, LA FC were 3-0 up, but thanks to two Ibrahimović goals, they lost 3-4. It was the second time in league history that someone had lost such a big lead.
