They are called Tarzanlar (Tarzani), the main club colours are black and white. They have black and white vertical stripes on their home jersey, and play outdoors in mostly white with black detailing on the shoulders and sleeves. Their sanctuary is called Manisa 19 Mayıs Stadium and holds 16,597 spectators. The club's history began in 1931 when it was founded under the name Sakaryaspor. It was then re-established in 1965 under its current name, Manisaspor. The club operates in the Turkish city of Manisa.
For most of its history, this club has played in the 2nd highest Turkish competition. It earned its first promotion to the modern Süper Lig in 2005, with club manager Levent Eriş at the helm. At the end of the 2006/07 winter break, the club started high in 4th place in the table, but eventually finished in 12th position 4 points from relegation. In the 2014/15 season, they were relegated to the 3rd division.
