NK Olimpija Ljubljana

NK Olimpija Ljibljana is a professional football club based in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. The team was originally founded in 1911 and was re-established in 2005 after the predecessor club, NK Olimpija (1945–2005), folded due to financial difficulties. Sporting the colors green and white, Olimpija plays its home matches at the Stadion Stožice, which has a seating capacity of around 16,000 spectators.

Olimpija Ljubljana is one of the most successful clubs in Slovenian football history, having won multiple Slovenian League titles and Slovenian Cup trophies since the country's independence. The club enjoys a reputation for developing young talent and has a dedicated fan base known as the "Green Dragons."

In European competitions, NK Olimpija Ljubljana participates regularly but has yet to make a significant impact. Nevertheless, they remain a competitive side, often challenging for domestic silverware and striving to make a mark on the European stage.
