Northwich Victoria FC is an English football club based in Northwich, Cheshire, with a rich history dating back to its founding on September 9, 1874. Known to their fans as "The Vics" or “The Trickies”, they currently compete in the North West Counties Football League, which is part of the English non-league football system. The team's colors are green and white, and they play their home matches at Wincham Park, which they share with Witton Albion FC.
Historically, Northwich Victoria was one of the founding members of the second division of The Football League in 1892 and has the distinction of being one of the oldest surviving football clubs in the world. Over the years, the club experienced various successes, including winning several regional league titles and cups. However, financial difficulties and off-field problems have also been a part of their legacy, leading to a series of relocations and restructurings.
Despite the challenges faced by the club, the supporters' loyalty remains strong, with a dedicated fan base that follows The Vics through thick and thin. Community involvement and passion for the game continue to be the driving forces behind Northwich Victoria FC, reflecting the spirit of grassroots football in England.
