The nickname of this club is Mor Menekşe (violets), which also implies that the club colour is purple, but also white. It is the only football club in Turkey that plays in this colour combination. The home jerseys feature vertical stripes in these colours, while the shorts are purple. The away jerseys are mostly white with purple sleeve trims, or alternatively purple jerseys with white sleeves. They play at the 19 Eylül Stadium, which has a capacity of 11,024 spectators. The club hails from the Turkish city of Ordu and was founded there in 1967.
If we look at this club's participation in the top Turkish competition, known as the Süper Lig, it was active here between 1975-81, 1983-86 and most recently in 2011-13. From our perspective, it is a small historical pearl that it also appeared in the former UEFA Cup (now the UEFA Europa League).
