Osmanlispor FK, based in Ankara, Turkey, is a football club competing in the TFF First League, the second tier of Turkish football. Founded in 1978 as Ankara Belediyespor, the club underwent several name changes before adopting the name Osmanlispor in 2014, reflecting the historical Ottoman Empire ('Osmanlı' means 'Ottoman' in Turkish). The team plays its home matches at the Osmanlı Stadium, which has a capacity to seat around 19,600 spectators.
The club's colors are purple and white, and they have a history of fluctuating between the top two divisions of Turkish football. They gained international recognition when they reached the group stages of the UEFA Europa League during the 2016-2017 season. Osmanlispor FK is known for its youth academy, producing several players who have progressed to higher-profile teams and national squads.
Despite facing financial challenges and management issues in recent times, Osmanlispor continues to be an important fixture in Turkish football, fostering local talent and providing competitive action for its dedicated fan base.
