Palermo FC

The football club from the famous Sicilian city was founded in 1900 and today Palermo SSD can be considered the most successful football team from this island. Their home stadium, Stadio Renzo Barbera, boasts a capacity of over 36,000 spectators.

Palermo also have experience in the premier league, having last played in the prestigious Serie A in the 2016/2017 season. That year was followed by a drop through Serie B to the fourth tier of Serie D. They also have several titles from the lower levels of Italian football to their credit, with the highlight in this regard being their domination of the second league. They also have successes from cups, including three Coppa Italia finals.
