The club first entered the top domestic competition in 1940. However, the period between the 1940s and 1960s was not so successful, and for most of the time the club stayed in the second league, where it spent the most time from a historical perspective. A better period came in the 1980s, when the club played in the top competition for six seasons. However, whenever it appeared in the top flight, it always occupied the second half to the bottom of the table. You tried your last stint at the top level in the 2007/08 season. They currently plays in Segunda División B, which is the 3rd highest level of Spanish football.
