Shandong Luneng

Shandong Luneng Taishan Football Club, commonly referred to as Shandong Luneng or simply Luneng, is a professional football club based in Jinan, Shandong Province, China. The club competes in the Chinese Super League (CSL), which is the top tier of Chinese football.

Founded in 1956 as Shandong Provincial team, it underwent several name changes before adopting its current name in 1994 when it became fully professional and started to play in the burgeoning Chinese football league system. The team's home colors are predominantly orange and they play their home matches at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium, which has a seating capacity of about 56,808.

Shandong Luneng has established itself as one of the leading clubs in China, with a strong domestic record. They have claimed multiple Chinese Super League titles and have been winners of the Chinese FA Cup and the Chinese FA Super Cup on several occasions.
