SS Arezzo, short for Società Sportiva Arezzo, is an Italian football team based in the city of Arezzo in Tuscany. The team was founded in 1923 and has a colorful history in Italian football, experiencing several promotions and relegations through the divisions over the years.
SS Arezzo typically plays its home matches at the Stadio Città di Arezzo, which has a capacity to host spectators who come to support the team in its traditional colors of red and yellow. Although Arezzo has not been a permanent fixture in the top tiers of Italian football, such as Serie A, the club has spent most of its existence in the lower professional leagues, like Serie C and Serie D.
The club's honors include modest successes, such as winning the Coppa Italia Serie C, but it is particularly known for its youth academy, which has produced several players who have gone on to play at higher levels in Italy and abroad.
As with many football clubs, SS Arezzo has a dedicated fan base that exhibits local pride and passion for their team. Despite the ups and downs in its history, the club remains an integral part of the local community, contributing to the sports culture in Arezzo and the surrounding region.
