This Italian football club was founded by two brothers in 1907 as Stabia Sporting Club and has undergone several name changes in its more than a century of history, with the most recent one to SS Juve Stabia for the 2003/2004 season. Their stadium, Stadio Romeo Menti, has a capacity of about 13,000 spectators.
The club has even gone through several bankruptcies, the worst in this respect being the period after the 2000/2001 season, when they even had to take a break from football for a year due to difficulties. The SS Juve Stabia players have never played in the first league, as their maximum participation in the second league was reached in the 2011/2012 season, when they finished ninth.
