Swansea City AFC is a Welsh football team based in the county of West Glamorgan. It has been in existence for over a century, having been founded in 1912. However, back then it was called as Swansea Town. The change to the current name occurred in 1969. Their home stadium, the Liberty Stadium, can welcome over 21,000 sports fans.
The team's supporters could also enjoy its presence among the elite in the Premier League. But here Swansea City AFC occupied positions in the second half of the table until they were relegated to the second league after the 2018 season. This is a club that has so far failed to win any of football's more prestigious trophies. And it hasn't achieved any significant success on the international stage either, having made a couple of appearances in the Europa League.
