The nicknames of this Italian club are Dorici or Biancorossi (red and white). Red and white are among the club's colours, which can also be found in the emblem. Of course, the jerseys are also in this spirit, with home games being played in a red jersey with white shorts and the opposite being true for away games. Their sanctuary is the Stadio del Conero with a capacity of 23,967 spectators. The club's history dates back to 1905 and like many other Italian clubs, it has had to go through several bankruptcies. The most recent re-establishment came in 2017. The club is based in the city of Ancona.
After the club's re-foundation in 2017, the team had to start from scratch again, of course. It started playing in the regional league, thus it was forced to start at the lowest level of domestic football. From a historical perspective, the club was definitely more successful, as it also played in Italy's top competition for several seasons. The first time it did so was in the 1921/22 season.
