The nicknames of this Italian football team include Irpini, Lupi (wolves) and Biancoverdi (green and white). They have a wolf's head in their emblem, so the club colours are of course green and white. The home games are played at the Stadio Partenio with a capacity of 26,308 spectators.The club originates from the town of Avellino in Campania and its history dates back to 1912.
