FC Volendam is a football team from northern Netherlands that has been in existence since 1920. Professional team was founded in 1977. They haven't achieved any significant success in the top league yet. Their fondest memories are undoubtedly of their six titles in the second Dutch league Eerste Divisie. They also managed to reach final of Dutch Football Cup twice. They can play in front of more than 7 000 fans at their home stadium Kras Stadion.
