They are familiarly called Hearts or The Jam Tarts, HMFC or The Jambos. The club anthem is The Hearts Song, composed by a Scottish comedian. A modern version of this song is played before the start of every game at the home stadium. This is Tynecastle Park, which holds 20,099 spectators. It also sometimes hosts Scottish international matches. The main rivals are of course Edinburgh's other club, Hibernian. Hearth of Midlothian's club colours are brown and white.

For sponsorship reasons, the stadium is also known as the Tony Macaroni Arena, but of course fans continue to call it the same. They still have a nickname for it, "The Vale". The typical club colours are amber and black. The top of the football jersey is usually in amber, as well as the football socks, which have black detailing. The shorts are also black.
